Policies/Rates 2011
Hours of Operation
The Flea Market office will be open at 7:00 am when indoors and 6:30 am when outdoors
on operating days. Vendors can arrive at this time to register and set up. The Flea
Market will publish opening time of 8 am until 4 pm for retail sales to the public.
Registration
Vendor registration can be done on line at our site
, by telephone at 613 822 2211 or 613 667 3144 and in person at the site office
on sale days. The Flea Market must
confirm that your registration has been accepted in order for you to be allocated
a space on the grounds. The Flea Market reserves the right to reject any registration
or registrant at their discretion.
Outdoor Space Size
Vendor Spaces shall be 10 feet in width by 18 feet in length. No vehicles will be
allowed in the first 8 spaces of each row except for the last row where vehicle
can rest on the unpaved area.
Occasional Vendors (Garage Sale goods vendors)
Spaces shall be 18 feet in width by 18 feet in length. For reference, this constitutes
2 marked parking spaces. Occasional vendor spaces are located at the rear of the
vending area. Occasional vendors may include their vehicle in the space provided.
Reserved Space
The Flea Market will consider spaces as RESERVED only if the space has been prepaid
by the Vendor for a minimum of 2 weeks.
Space Assignment Priority
The Flea Market will give priority for space selection on a first come first basis
for available spaces every week. Vendors paying for the season shall have first
choice of a space which will be reserved for them each week, followed by monthly
paid vendors and then bi-weekly paid vendors. ONLY SEASON AND MONTHLY paid vendors
are guaranteed the same space every week. All other spaces will be available to
any vendor who elects to rent the space for the season or the month. ALL SPACE ASSIGNMENTS
ARE AT THE DISCRETION OF THE FLEA MARKET.
Storage
The Flea Market can provide on site storage to vendors wishing to store their goods.
These are secure, dry, steel containers and are subject to availability. For sizes
and rates, see the rates section.
Canopies/Tents
Vendors may erect canopies, tents etc… on their space. These must be approved by
The Flea Market and be erected in a safe and secure manner. All tents/canopies must
be appropriately anchored. Failure to comply will result in having to remove the
tent or canopy from the space.
Sale of Goods/Services
The Flea Market must approve all goods offered for sale on the site. The Flea Market
reserves the right to request the removal on any goods or service being offered
on the site at their discretion.
Exclusivity
The Flea Market may grant exclusivity to vendors for the sale of specific goods
or services on the site. These Exclusivity Agreements will be negotiated between
the Flea Market and The Vendor.
Miscellaneous Rules/Regulations
Vendors must arrive no later than 8:00 am otherwise their space will be made available
to other vendors. This applies to all spaces including reserved spaces. No Vendor
shall dismantle or pack their goods prior to 3:30 pm and vehicles may not drive
within the site till 3:45 pm unless special arrangements have been made in which
case The Market will provide an escort for you to exit the site.
Respect
Vendors are expected to respect each other and refrain from any negative actions
or remarks towards each other.
Honesty
All vendors are expected to conduct business in a fair and honest manner.
The Flea Market reserves the right to refuse entry to any individual or vendor at
their discretion.

Storage Rates
Storage space is available to Vendors. All storage must be paid in full for the
entire season which is April to September ( 6mths ) Subject to availability, sizes
are as follows:

Tables
Tables are available for rent on a daily basis each sale day. Table sizes are 24
in. X 72 in. Rates:
Closure/Weather
The Flea Market shall be the sole authority in any decision to close. Should The
Flea Market elect to close for whatever reason, then pre-paid vendors shall receive
a credit for that day, to a maximum of one day per calendar month, which will be
applied to the end of their term. There will be no monetary refunds for credit days.
Advertising
The Flea Market will continue to advertise the event, at their discretion, using
any available media. Vendors may not utilize The Flea Market Logo on any media without
consent. The Market will not utilize any of it’s vendors’ logos or names without
consent from the Vendor.
